More Green Streets for Adelaide 🌳

The City of Adelaide is ramping up efforts to create a greener, cooler future by increasing tree canopy coverage across the city. Currently at 33%, the goal is to reach 40% by 2035. As part of road renewal projects, opportunities for planting street trees have been identified, with feedback currently open for proposals like adding trees to 60 King William Street. Let’s make Adelaide a leading green city!

Improving Autism Assessments in SA 🧩

South Australia has launched a pioneering advisory group to improve autism diagnosis and assessment processes. Led by Assistant Minister Emily Bourke, this initiative will streamline pathways and address challenges in accessing timely evaluations. With support from major medical colleges and stakeholders, the group aims to provide better post-diagnostic care tailored for South Australians.

Aldinga Interchange Progress 🚧

One of SA’s largest cranes is helping install super-T beams at the new Aldinga Interchange, part of the $810M Fleurieu Connections project. This new infrastructure aims to improve traffic flow and safety between Aldinga and Sellicks Beach. Once completed in 2026, it will feature pedestrian pathways and upgraded road safety measures for the 18,800 daily users.

Wine Exports to China Surge 🍷

South Australia’s wine industry is booming with over $558M in exports to China in just seven months following the removal of tariffs. Trade missions and reengagement packages have played a crucial role in rebuilding ties, with more than 70 wineries welcoming Chinese buyers recently. A big win for SA’s world-class wine producers!
