Did you know there's a tiny marsupial so rare that it exists ONLY on Kangaroo Island? The Kangaroo Island dunnart is a pint-sized predator that calls this isolated paradise its exclusive home. No bigger than a mouse, this elusive marsupial is a nocturnal hunter, using its sharp senses to track down insects and spiders for food. Its grey fur and slender tail help it blend seamlessly into the island’s dense undergrowth, making it difficult to spot.
